Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Squatty mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by Squatty ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

Squatty provides a camera-based fitness game in which your own squats control the character on screen. The app includes both free features and optional premium features.

2. Physical Activity & No Medical Advice

Squatty asks you to perform repeated squats while looking at a screen instead of at the room around you. That is physical exercise, and it carries the ordinary risks of physical exercise.

Before you play:

• Clear the space around you, including behind you
• Play on a surface you will not slip on, and put the phone where it cannot be kicked
• If you have knee, hip, back or heart trouble, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury, consult a qualified healthcare professional first
• Stop if it hurts, if you feel dizzy, or if you cannot keep your form

Squatty is intended for general fitness and entertainment purposes only. The app does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not assess your technique. You use the app at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety.

3. Accounts

You may play anonymously. You may also create an account using:

• Apple Sign-In
• Google Sign-In
• Email authentication

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Squatty.

4. Free Use & Daily Limit

Squatty is free to play, with a limit on how many runs you can play each day. The limit resets daily. A run that is abandoned, interrupted, or lost to tracking failure does not count against it.

5. Subscription

Squatty offers auto-renewable weekly and yearly subscriptions. A subscription removes the daily limit and makes you eligible for the global leaderboard.

• There is no free trial
• The App Store shows the exact price in your local currency before you confirm, and that price is the one that applies

Billing details:

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account
• The subscription renews automatically each period
• Renewal occurs unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep premium access until the period you have paid for ends.

6. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Apple (App Store).

We do NOT collect or store payment information.

Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.

7. Recordings & Your Content

The recordings Squatty makes of your runs belong to you. They stay on your device, we never receive them, and we claim no rights over them.

• Recordings are stored in the app's own storage. If you delete the app, they are deleted with it.
• Older recordings are cleared automatically to avoid filling your device.
• What you do with a recording after you save or share it is your responsibility, including making sure anyone else in the frame is happy to appear in it.

8. Leaderboard & Fair Play

When using the leaderboard, you agree not to:

• Use modified versions of the app, or automate play
• Submit scores that were not earned by actually playing
• Use a display name that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or advertises

You can report or block any player from the leaderboard. We may hide a score, reset a display name, or remove an account from the leaderboard when these rules are broken.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and features of Squatty are owned by Squatty.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the app at any time, and delete your account from Profile → Account → Delete account. Cancel any subscription with Apple separately.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squatty is not responsible for:

• Injury or health outcomes
• Indirect damages
• Data loss or interruptions

Use the app at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.

12. Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Changes take effect once published.
